About The Position

The Project Portfolio Manager, EHR - Remote oversees multi-project initiatives that deliver transformative business outcomes within the Project Management Office (PMO). This role orchestrates interrelated projects, aligns executive stakeholders, and manages program-level risks and dependencies. The Project Portfolio Manager serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, mentors project managers, and ensures initiatives deliver against strategic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related required
5-7 years of experience in project and/or program management required
Expert in PPM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira) required
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI or obtained within six (6) months of employment required

Nice To Haves

10 + years of healthcare IT experience highly preferred
3 + years of program management experience highly preferred
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) implementations highly preferred

Responsibilities

Oversees multiple interrelated projects as a unified program with strategic business value.
Chairs steering committees and communicates effectively with executive stakeholders.
Drives cross-project dependency alignment, resource planning, and timeline negotiation.
Mentors and advises project managers on delivery methods and execution challenges.
Manages program-level budgets, KPIs, and benefits tracking.
Leads vendor negotiations and external partner collaboration.
Represents the program in strategic planning discussions and governance reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Complies with all policies and standards.
