About The Position

The Supply Chain Project Planning Analyst will provide reporting & analytics for Supply Chain systems and processes, both existing and under development. The analyst will provide broad and detailed analysis to help support business decisions and recommendations, as well as ad hoc initiatives and other analytics-focused assignments & reporting for Supply Chain. This position will be responsible for designing and validating necessary material management reporting, logistics reporting, and other various ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of experience in data analytics/supply chain systems is required
  • Knowledgeable of Maximo, Oracle, SQL, Cognos, and other IT/Supply Chain Systems
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
  • Experience with inventory and/or warehouse management.
  • Experience working and leading different groups to work together as a team.
  • Experienced working with and managing confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior team members, program managers, and other organizational teams to develop processes and improvements.
  • For project-based assignments, incumbent will be responsible for project scoping, identifying functional requirements, project workshops, communication plans, external communication with vendor (if applicable), documentation, and establishing project milestones.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to build reports to analyze relationships between data in various systems.
  • Build reports and dashboards to monitor inbound deliveries for Transmission Bulk Orders to material laydown yards.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with internal and external work groups to obtain necessary data to support/develop scheduling activities, project analysis and issues resolution.
  • Provide custom reports to monitor and analyze supplier and Supply Chain performance.
  • Assist in the development and continues improvement of inbound material delivery reports.
  • Coordinate with various work groups like Suppliers, Inventory Management, Transmission Engineering, Construction, Operations, , Information Technology, and others to enhance reporting capabilities and analysis for Supply Chain.
  • Be proactive in improving the existing processes by establishing and maintaining process documentation, and develop procedures to enhance existing Supply Chain interfaces, systems, and reporting needs through automation and SharePoint applications.
  • Manage a portfolio of initiatives and projects.
  • As directed, develop, document, own, and maintain processes needed to facilitate project/program coordination between various Oncor work groups and activities to support program scheduling activities.
  • Occasionally work after normal working hours to support system operations (including storm related support).
  • Support Strategy and Technology group on special projects as assigned.
  • Review and analyze various projects and be able to proactively provide pertinent information upon request.
  • Assist with reporting and achieving performance metrics.
  • Actively participate in meetings with other work groups with the ability to provide project information when needed.
  • Proactively monitor project data to identify inefficiencies and help to resolve them.
  • Proactively plans, analyzes and monitors project activities to achieve corporate goals and drive improvements.
  • Respond and provide accurate updates to internal and external requests.
  • Performs product rejection through inbound Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) receiving process.
  • Supports contractor team with Maximo related job functionality on shop refurbishment process.
  • Asset data correction and reporting in regards to status clean up.
  • Performs warranty work coordination with established vendors.
  • Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
