About The Position

This role is responsible for the execution of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract(s) site. The supervisor will oversee staff assigned to mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response, or other contracted activities. A key aspect of this position is communicating with the client and the O&M team on all issues concerning the execution of the contract.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
Five or more years of experience in operations and maintenance.
Able to program and operate Building Automation Systems.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Able to manage and train entry-level personnel.
Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.
Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.
Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise the staff assigned to mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response or other contracted activities.
Communicate with client and O&M team on all issues concerning execution of the contract.
Hiring, training and scheduling the staff needed to fulfill O&M contractual obligations.
Programming and monitoring alarm responses and mechanical operations.
Communicating with client and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance our opportunity to secure “contract extras”.
Maintaining and updating all assigned systems.
Developing and implementing an employee training and development plan.
Providing regular management reports as requested by the O&M team and the client.
Being on call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.
Ensuring compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements.
Maintaining and submitting all records and documents to proper authorities.
Reviewing all work and assuring performance in accordance with established safety procedures.
Complying with all company policies and procedures and adhering to company standards.
Performing other duties as required.
