About The Position

It’s the feeling of knowing your leadership is directly securing the future of national defense on one of the most complex "mega-projects" in the world. Join the Sentinel program, a cornerstone of national security and one of the largest acquisition efforts in DoD history. As a Project Manager II, you will build a long-term career leading critical workstreams to replace the aging Minuteman III weapon system. In this job, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic goals to ensure the program meets its mission-critical milestones.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in project/program management within a defense environment.
Familiarity with EVM and project scheduling tools.
Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.

Nice To Haves

Experience with EVMS and DoD ACAT1 program management.
Proficiency in developing and managing complex project schedules.
Experience creating and analyzing Bases of Estimates (BoEs).
Background in Flight Test operations and execution.
Expertise in formal Risk Management and mitigation strategies.
PMP certification
Experience with ICBM systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the acquisition lifecycle from planning through sustainment.
Develop project plans and coordinate with government agencies and contractors.
Use Earned Value (EV) metrics to manage budgets and keep schedules on track.
Identify potential challenges and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure all work meets DoD regulations (FAR/DFARS) and customer standards.
Guide cross-functional teams to optimize performance and delivery.
