BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) system, known as the Sentinel ICBM Program. This role directly supports the Sentinel Program’s Launch Execution Branch in acquiring the weapon system command & control capabilities. Duties include providing expert advice and support to Sentinel program managers throughout the acquisition cycle, focusing on areas such as weapon system command & control, ICBM nuclear codes/cryptography, ICBM targeting, and Nuclear command, control & communications (NC3) systems. The team member will support the government customer in reviewing and assessing the Sentinel prime contractor’s designs, documentation, architectures, and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. Expertise is provided on weapon system and lab architectures, concepts of operation, modeling, simulation and analysis (MS&A), and command & control integration options. This role will assist in day-to-day operations including status tracking, meeting support, contract performance monitoring, and integrated master schedule (IMS) management. The position involves interaction with government customer staff and senior leaders across various agencies, as well as coordinating with other program managers, engineers, logisticians, testers, and external agencies. The team includes existing staff with extensive expertise in the current Minuteman III weapon system and actively participates in ongoing studies and assessments for this next generation ICBM system.
