About The Position

Commence is a mission-led, technology-driven company focused on solving federal health care challenges and driving measurable outcomes. Its work includes program integrity and compliance, quality improvement and measurement science, health informatics, interoperability, and AI for CMS, VA, DHA, and state health agencies. The Project Manager leads day-to-day execution of client programs, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, issues, and stakeholders from kickoff through closeout. This hands-on role manages several projects concurrently, drives deliverables through completion, maintains a current view of project status, and raises issues early. The Project Manager partners with Technical Delivery Managers to align project and technical execution; works with finance and contracts on funding, modifications, and burn; and serves as a reliable point of contact for assigned clients. The role also supports process and quality improvements and business development activities as needed. This is an in-office position in a climate-controlled environment. The employee regularly sits, reads, works on a computer, and watches a computer screen for extended periods, and occasionally stands, walks, or uses hands and fingers, kneels, or crouches. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
