About The Position

Haley Ward is seeking a Project Manager for its Stuart, FL office to support a wide variety of projects predominantly located in Florida. The Project Manager will plan, organize, and coordinate project activities to ensure successful completion, operating within the guidelines of the Survey Manager and Division Director, and adhering to project management policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of surveying experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering (or equivalent) required.
  • Ability to manage projects.
  • A working knowledge of modern survey techniques, and computer programs is required.
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.
  • A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.

Nice To Haves

  • Registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Directs others toward the preparation of a professional, economical, and effective product for each individual project.
  • Works closely with personnel from other departments as necessary to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
  • Manages a project team and multiple projects.
  • Manages contract budgets and estimates to completion and updates as conditions change.
  • Communicates scope of work changes with clients, including project schedule and budget impacts, and requests client approval before authorizing or performing such out-of-scope work.
  • Prepares project proposals including scope of work, time, and estimated manpower.
  • Maintains general supervision over supervised staff activities to ensure technical and financial competence, including quality, accuracy, and completeness of work; compliance with established standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances; adherence to design and project schedules; adequate training, technical and administrative guidance, and instruction to supervised staff.
  • Develops marketing and business development plans for Southeast Region Survey Division for the Port St Lucie office, in coordination with the Stuart Survey Manager, Survey Division Director, Marketing Director, COO, and CEO.
