Requirements

5+ years experience in heavy civil or infrastructure project management
Strong knowledge of utilities, drainage, and roadway construction
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid foundation in civil construction principles is essential, particularly in Heavy Civil projects.
Strong organizational skills will enable you to effectively manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication abilities are critical, as you will coordinate with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure everyone is aligned on project goals.

Responsibilities

Oversee heavy civil infrastructure projects from start to finish
Manage underground utilities (water, sewer, storm systems) and roadwork
Lead drainage, wastewater, and site development projects
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
Coordinate with City of Houston, Harris County, engineers, and subcontractors
Supervise field operations and construction teams
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations
Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and reporting
Utilize Primavera P6, CMiC, or equivalent tools
Coordinating with various teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Oversee Heavy Civil projects in Houston, TX, and manage all aspects of civil construction, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Conducting site visits to assess progress on underground utilities and drainage projects, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to facilitate efficient road construction and municipal initiatives.
Hold regular meetings to communicate project status and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Guide the execution of wastewater management solutions, making a positive impact on Harris County and enhancing the infrastructure of the City of Houston.
