About The Position

The Project Manager’s primary mandate is to ensure accurate external project management of client implementations (new, additional and upgrades) of NRT solutions; and ensure accurate internal project such new product development / product enhancement in an effective and timely manner. As the lead of an integral team supporting external and internal software development projects of our organization, the Project Manager is expected to: Have a strong technical/systems background Review processes and implement efficiency enhancing procedures Regularly interact with the client to successfully implement NRT solutions Manage internal and external projects using established project management methodologies and processes Track industry trends, understand internal product development and interact with internal and external stakeholders - Promote, justify and lead the development of new products and functionality - Be a catalyst for important R&D Initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience
  • A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software development and implementation environment
  • Experience of the entire project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
  • Formal training in Project Management methods and techniques
  • Excellent organization, written and client facing skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous casino/ gaming/ payment services experience an asset
  • PMP certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor & control and close external projects for new implementations, software upgrades and additions to existing installations at a client site
  • Develop critical project plans, project charter in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Project scheduling, including resource requirements, allocation and responsibility
  • Establish communication plan to all relevant stakeholders
  • Evaluate project risk factors and communicate action plans to all relevant stakeholders
  • Translate firm sales orders into project plan (internal system tools, kickoff mtg., etc.)
  • Convene, lead or participate in project meetings that involve client representatives, internal Staff and third parties, from operational staff level to senior executive management
  • Execute project closure by conducting project post mortems or debriefings with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare Cost-benefit analysis for every change order and internal project
  • Request, monitor and analyze reports from trainers and technical staff
  • Track and manage the resolution of outstanding project issues or requirements
  • Recommend process improvements based on industry best practices or experience with other clients
  • Adhere to best industry practices of certification and compliance
