About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead global projects from the pre-sales phase through definition and deployment for a Japanese IT company. This role involves identifying schedules, scope, budget estimates, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategies. The Project Manager will be responsible for creating project timelines, reporting project outcomes and risks, and escalating issues as necessary. This position will serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration. The role also includes leading RFQ and RFP response efforts, supporting the development of project documentation, and coordinating internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget requirements. The Project Manager will analyze project status and revise schedules or budgets as needed, and establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, providing day-to-day communication.

Nice To Haves

3-5+ years of direct experience in new product development and introduction in one or more of the following technology areas: Mobility, Telematics, Internet of Things (IoT), Network Access Devices.
3-5+ years of Project Management experience.
Experience with Monday.com.
Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese is preferred, but not required.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead global projects from the pre-sales phase through definition and deployment, identifying schedules, scope, budget estimates, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
Create project timelines.
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
Lead RFQ and RFP response efforts.
Support the development of project documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, integration guides, and other deliverables as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise schedules or budgets to ensure project requirements can be met.
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day communication regarding project status and changes.
