About The Position

As a Project Manager in Strategy & Transformation Consulting, you will lead a cross-functional team providing PMO support for the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Modernization program. You will oversee requirements development and traceability, coordinate stakeholders across CBP and partner organizations, and manage portfolio planning and roadmaps to align scope, funding, and delivery timelines. The role also guides budget planning, forecasting, resource alignment, and financial reporting. You will drive workflow automation and tool adoption, uphold PMO standards and documentation quality, and support governance forums and cross-program coordination. You will track budgets and spending, analyze variances, coordinate forecasting cycles, and make funding and resource risks and opportunities visible to leadership. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Public Trust, with approved adjudication required before onboarding. The role involves travel up to 10%. The stated annual salary range is $113,000 to $188,000, with compensation dependent on factors including skills, experience, training, clearances, and organizational needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
At least five years of experience leading teams supporting large federal PMO or modernization programs.
Strong background in requirements development and facilitation.
Ability to manage complex stakeholder engagement across mission, technical, and leadership groups.
Familiarity with federal budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Strong communication skills for executive briefings and program reporting.
Ability to oversee multiple workstreams and drive cohesive delivery across a complex program.
Exposure to PMO documentation standards and QA/QC frameworks.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD CBP Public Trust; approved adjudication is required before onboarding with Guidehouse.

Nice To Haves

Active CBP Public Trust or suitability.
Active Top Secret or Public Trust clearance.
Experience supporting CBP or DHS IT modernization efforts.
Familiarity with Agile delivery and PMO toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Experience developing dashboards, workflow automation, or other process-improving tools.
Understanding of DHS or CBP acquisition and governance processes.
Experience coordinating cross-disciplinary delivery teams.

Responsibilities
