About The Position

Everon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project progression from inception to completion. This role involves managing all aspects of projects, including design, permits, material delivery, labor planning, and field installation. The Project Manager will attend job progress meetings, manage project documentation (RFIs, transmittals, permits, change orders, closeouts), and effectively communicate project progress and financial status. The position requires resolving project issues with minimal escalation, analyzing and preparing complex billings to maintain positive cash flow, and recognizing and developing Change Orders. The role also includes providing in-house estimating and proposals, proactively managing risks with creative solutions, and ensuring safety protocols are implemented and compliant. A key responsibility is interpreting complex construction documents and contracts, completing jobs within budget, and reviewing/updating job status and cost to completion weekly. The Project Manager will participate in meetings with various departments to review ongoing projects and forecast project manpower demands, including resource loading and Gantt chart scheduling. Adherence to adopted codes and standards, industry standard project management procedures, and timely completion of all required documentation are essential. The role also involves completing other projects to manager and customer satisfaction as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
  • Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to clear a drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
  • Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by National, State or Local codes
  • Proficiency of Project Management Institute's (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas; Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communications, Risk Management
  • Must have 5+ years of industry, security/fire and project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project progression from inception to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labor planning, field installation, etc.
  • Attend job progress meetings as required.
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, letters of transmittals, permits, change orders, final closeout requirements, etc.
  • Effectively communicate project progress and financial status of projects.
  • Resolve project issues with minimal need for escalation.
  • Analysis and preparation of complex billings, including detailed schedule values, within project scope to maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Recognize and develop Change Orders.
  • Provide in-house estimating and proposals as needed.
  • Proactive in recognizing and managing risks and develop creative solutions.
  • Ensure the safety protocols are being implemented and are in compliance with both company and project requirements.
  • Ability to interpret complex construction documents and contracts, including project scope.
  • Complete jobs within budget.
  • Review and update job status and cost to completion weekly.
  • Participate in onsite and remote meetings with contracts administration, field supervision and engineering departments to review all on-going projects.
  • Forecast project manpower demands including resource loading and Gnatt chart scheduling from the installation to the final testing, certification and closeout.
  • Understand and follow all adopted codes and standards to ensure work is performed in compliance with all state, local and Federal legal requirements.
  • Follow industry standard project management procedures and processes.
  • Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Completes other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned.
