POSITION OVERVIEW The Project Manager serves as a leader of a construction project, responsible for the oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site. Working under limited supervision and general direction, this individual independently applies advanced techniques to complex assignments, demonstrating the knowledge and skill of a fully competent and experienced professional. Through effective coordination and sound decision-making, the Project Manager ensures that all construction activities are carried out efficiently and in alignment with project goals.

Requirements

Must be a U.S Citizen
Has underdone a minimum of a Tier 1 Public Trust 1 background investigation or higher within the last 5 years
Will be required to undergo a DHS Suitability assessment
Four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years' project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects.

Nice To Haves

Prefer PMP or other project management certification

Responsibilities

Provide oversight of construction-related activities for contracts.
Support COR by performing all project management tasks.
Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
Tasks include coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review.
Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
Review contractor submittmits for contract conformance.
Aid the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings.
Draft technical responses to any change orders.
Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications.
