About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a long-term project in Dallas, TX. This onsite role requires a strong background in SAP infrastructure and ERP systems, with a focus on S4 Hana. The ideal candidate will manage multiple workstreams, facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders, and ensure project success through meticulous planning, risk management, and budget oversight.

Requirements

  • Experienced with SAP Infrastructure
  • High-level SAP ERP experience is key.
  • Experience with S4 Hana
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and network engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with SAP infrastructure environments (preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management tools: MS Project, JIRA, Clarity PPM, and Smartsheet.
  • Ability to work in hybrid methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Versatility to branch into other workstreams (data, reporting) as the program evolves.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with companies that have done mergers or acquisitions is a Nice to Have.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple workstreams, including IT, business, and external consultants, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable tasks.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for infrastructure-related projects.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across infrastructure and networking initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors and technical stakeholders.
  • Engage and manage expectations of diverse stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams.
  • Monitor program-level KPIs and ensure all milestones are met.
  • Manage program budgets, ensure resource allocation aligns with financial constraints, and monitor costs effectively.
  • Monitor resource utilization and ensure costs are within the defined budget for their specific workstream.
  • Clearly articulate project goals, updates, and technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactively address roadblocks and technical challenges during infrastructure setup.
  • Make informed decisions, balancing technical feasibility and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
  • Establish governance frameworks for decision-making and reporting.
  • Drive resolution for conflicts between technical and business teams.
