About The Position

The project manager is an integral member of the Office of the Provost team responsible for project evolution from concept to completion in an interprofessional, collaborative venue. The Project Manager is responsible for assuring project collaboration in a timely manner sufficient to produce intended outcomes. This role is also responsible for regular reporting of strategic initiatives, quality improvement and special projects within and impacting the Office of the Provost.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and four (4) years related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
In-depth understanding of concepts and principals of project management.
Understanding of how project management integrates within day to day processes.
Ability to lead and direct teams on various projects at the same time and able to problem solve using judgment based on the analysis of information.
Developed interpersonal skills to exchange project information with multiple audiences.
Reliable team leader with the ability to consistently perform tasks independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to manage projects in a way that inspires cross-functional team members to stay engaged and deliver excellent results.
Demonstrated experience in executing plans and in monitoring and evaluating results.
Drive to understand, embrace, and advance organizational culture.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree and 4 years prior experience managing institutional wide projects, working and communicating with different levels within the organization and working with project management related tools.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and completion of project action plans.
Use project management skills and tools to manage and/or support large, multifaceted projects and initiatives for the institution.
Resolve problems and assist with implementing changes.
Facilitate meetings with leaders and stakeholders within the organization around projects.
Evaluate data, develop reports to share with key stakeholders and leaders across the institution.
