Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct project management experience on $10+ million-dollar projects
  • Current PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certifications
  • OSHA 30
  • Organized, with great attention to detail
  • Effective presentation skills both to internal and external groups
  • Well versed in excel and all MS Office Programs
  • Strong and proactive communication (written, phone, and in person)
  • Ability to work well with colleagues, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and the community

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, develop, manage, and implement all the tasks necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to our assistant project managers.
  • Serve as the liaison between project team members and the community with the common goal of promoting the interests of both the firm and clients in all matters.
  • Provide technical expertise regarding cost estimates.
  • Negotiate contracts and change orders.
  • Establish project objectives to ensure project success.
