About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for managing small-scale projects in support of hospital business objectives. The role provides leadership to assigned projects, performs project management administrative tasks, and assumes responsibility for the success of assigned projects or portions of projects. The position also supports safe, efficient, compassionate, and personalized experiences for patients, staff, visitors, and colleagues while adhering to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or comparable combined education and experience.
• Two years of work experience leading special projects.
• Experience leading work teams.
• Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of project management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned projects.
• Perform project management administrative tasks.
• Assume responsibility for the success of assigned projects or portions of projects.
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and quality of service.
• Promote professional growth and development by meeting mandatory and continuing education and skills competency requirements.
• Support department-based goals that contribute to organizational success.
• Serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
• Model Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
