As a Project Manager at New Story, you are responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. This role drives alignment between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring project outcomes meet organizational goals and contribute to overall growth and success. The Project Manager oversees multiple concurrent projects from initiation through successful delivery and closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 3 years of experience in project management
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with Visio

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
  • Create and maintain core project documents: charters, schedules, risks/issues, budgets, and communication plans.
  • Manage competing priorities and optimize resource use.
  • Facilitate effective communication with sponsors, stakeholders, vendors, and teams.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery with clear outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Enforce project governance: change control, escalations, and PMO standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to meet deliverables.
  • Provide consistent reporting and executive summaries.
  • Drive process improvements across PMO tools, standards, and workflows.
  • Integrate cross-functional workstreams and manage matrixed resources.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness for deployment.
  • Maintain PMO tools: project intake forms, dashboards, and reports.
  • Stay current on project management best practices and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
