Requirements

  • 4+ years managing projects in commercial construction - experience in drywall or related specialty trades strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms, estimating tools, scheduling software, and project documentation.
  • You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and thrive in a team-driven environment with multiple moving parts.
  • A track record of leading crews with purpose - driving accountability, morale, and results through effective mentorship.
  • You understand what clients need before they have to ask, and you consistently deliver value that builds long-term relationships.
  • You adapt quickly when project conditions shift and keep your team steady when things get complex.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of commercial drywall projects from preconstruction planning through final close-out.
  • Build and manage detailed project schedules, keeping crews aligned and milestones on track.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency without sacrificing quality.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, architects, and subcontractors - delivering responsive, professional service at every touchpoint.
  • Anticipate potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies before issues escalate.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, support field teams, and maintain a cohesive, motivated crew.
  • Coach and develop project staff, modeling a high-performance, solution-focused culture.
  • Ensure thorough project documentation and full compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
