The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Manager for federal construction projects in Kitsap, Washington. Project Managers organize and initiate project structure while adapting as needed, lead teams, build client relationships, and remain accountable for project profitability and business outcomes. The role includes leadership across project controls and personnel, from project startup through completion and closeout. Requirements

At least 7 years of experience.
Experience managing construction teams.
A record of success in client relationships.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple aspects of project controls, including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision, and personnel management.
Manage project startup, completion, and the entire closeout process.
Develop strategies for personnel development and recruiting.
Manage contractual issues.
Establish and maintain customer relationships.
Accurately forecast costs for job completion.
Provide leadership and development to the project team.
Make final decisions on problem resolution.
Develop and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
Identify issues and report them to the Program Manager as required to ensure project success.
Review and approve preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost-to-complete estimates.
Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed.
Coordinate with the Safety Manager to ensure projects meet safety goals.
