About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout while maintaining full ownership of execution, project financials, and client relationships. This is not a support-level role. The ideal candidate will independently manage projects end-to-end — including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, contracts, and client communication — across a diverse pipeline of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who understands both field operations and project financial management, thrives in an ownership-driven environment, and takes pride in delivering successful projects from award through completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience, or a construction-related degree with demonstrated project responsibility
  • Hands-on experience with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a high-autonomy environment
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Fort Smith, AR

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects preferred
  • PMP, OSHA, or comparable certifications are a plus
  • Relocation candidates are welcome

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field teams throughout all project phases
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and contracts for project alignment and constructability
  • Manage estimating coordination, procurement, buyout, RFIs, submittmits, and change orders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong project relationships
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, scheduling, and field coordination
  • Identify and proactively resolve project risks, delays, and operational challenges
  • Maintain organized project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal oversight
