About The Position

SGS is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager's role is to support the project team for their new mission at Hill Air Force Base, UT. This role involves providing Project Management support for numerous Depot Test Systems (DTS) and Automatic Test Systems (ATS), supporting USG requirements to upgrade and/or modify multiple DTS used to repair various aircraft systems and components, and supporting the acquisition and integration of new equipment and software.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of recent relevant project management experience
  • Aircraft avionics systems, subsystem, and/or Depot Test Systems experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with contracting officers and senior site leadership
  • Proficient utilizing software systems, MS Office suite, MS Project or similar scheduling software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Project Management support for numerous Depot Test Systems (DTS) and Automatic Test Systems (ATS).
  • Support USG requirements to upgrade and/or modify multiple DTS used to repair various aircraft systems and components.
  • Support the acquisition and integration of new equipment and software.
  • Develop and maintain an Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) for the ATEM effort IAW CDRL A001.
  • Implement and maintain a web-based project monitoring and control system for the ATEM effort. The web-based system shall track progress, provide an automated workflow for document approval, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. It shall be accessible by the government and commercially recognized. This reporting tool will include: IPMDAR, Project status reporting, Performance management reporting utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM), Change management to track changes to scope, schedule, and budget, Variance identification and resolution.
  • Facilitate and participate in project meetings to deliver meeting minutes IAW CDRL A002. Meetings include: Kick-off meetings, Status meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Program Management Reviews (PMR), Design reviews, Configuration audits, Acceptance events.
