About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to build, manage, and scale a team in a highly engaged environment, leveraging excellent communication, leadership, and management skills. Box is a leader in cloud content management, transforming how businesses modernize their operations. As a Project Manager, you will be an influential leader within Box Consulting and across the company, utilizing your project management and business process design expertise, combined with knowledge of internal processes and systems.

Requirements

  • High-energy, client-facing professional capable of working with diverse stakeholders and adapting to different project environments.
  • Project leader able to "own the customer outcome" and motivate cross-functional consultants.
  • Clear communication of key project updates to internal and external stakeholders, including Executive Leadership.
  • Ability to manage approximately 10 projects simultaneously while staying organized.
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting or project management roles, and/or in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Ability to measure project status and manage financial standing, scope alignment, and timeline as defined in contracts (SOWs, Change Orders).
  • Experienced power user of project management tools (e.g., Kantata, SmartSheet, MS Project) and related communication/productivity tools (Slack, Google Calendar).

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or comparable formal training and experience in project management preferred.
  • A driver's license may be required if clients are visited onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Run a portfolio of client-facing projects with cross-functional teams of Box Consultants.
  • Estimate and manage resource assignment to projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget deliverables.
  • Provide status reports with utilization, financial, and project progress analysis.
  • Devise mitigation plans for risks and issues throughout the project portfolio.
  • Identify scope and requirement changes, communicate project impact, and produce necessary artifacts like Change Orders.
  • Manage project requirements and ensure quality outputs from cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain project backlogs and provide recommendations for ongoing work on strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project status to Box Consulting executives and the wider organization.
  • Contribute to project management methodology, internal initiatives, and practice development.
