About The Position

Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an Agile Project Manager. This is a contract opportunity with a potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate; working for an outstanding company in the healthcare industry. Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support a high-visibility Procurement organization responsible for driving more than 80 strategic internal initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned project management professional who excels at managing multiple priorities, working independently, and delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment. While technology project management experience is not required, candidates with procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, or supply chain experience are highly desired.

Requirements

8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex business initiatives.
Proven experience serving as an Agile Project Manager.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience utilizing a variety of project management methodologies and project management tools.

Nice To Haves

Procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, contract management, or supply chain project experience.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Experience supporting enterprise business transformation or operational improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple procurement and business-focused initiatives simultaneously using Agile project management methodologies.
Drive project planning, execution, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications across a large portfolio of projects.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project reviews.
Partner with procurement leadership and cross-functional business teams to ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles while proactively developing mitigation plans.
Coordinate priorities and resources across numerous concurrent initiatives.
Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting to leadership stakeholders.
Utilize project management tools to track milestones, deliverables, budgets, and project health.
