About The Position

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Data Center Power & Control Division in New London, CT. The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of defined projects with established scopes, deliverables, and timelines. Following order placement, this role is responsible for helping ensure customer requirements are met by coordinating effectively with Sales, Customer Service, Sourcing, Production, and Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 2–4 years of related experience demonstrating increasing responsibility in project coordination or management.
  • Experience using enterprise systems and data tools (e.g., ERP platforms such as SAP and spreadsheet tools such as Excel)
  • Strong Project management including: Project Administration, Project Controls, Project Documentation, Project Evaluation, Scope Management, Stakeholder Management

Responsibilities

  • Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
  • Manages project quoting for end user projects and custom material while working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Strong ability to prioritize and multitask to meet customers needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders.
  • Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
  • Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
  • Monitors task completion status to Identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.
  • Provides design and planning assistance to Field Sales.
  • Executes the project according to project plan and customer needs.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Vice President, Agency, Distributor, and internal team members to support consistent service delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
