About The Position

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects and client communications from the deposit to final payment. Your main purpose is to ensure the client experience is top notch and they are 100% satisfied throughout the project while producing your job on time and on budget. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, construction management, production coordination, operations, or a related field, preferably within residential construction, remodeling, HVAC, weatherization, or home services.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working directly with customers throughout a construction or service project, including resolving concerns and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of construction project workflows, scheduling, material coordination, and subcontractor or field team communication.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high degree of professionalism, tact, and the ability to influence others.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations and resolve client concerns positively.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize diverse responsibilities while maintaining quality, customer satisfaction, and project timelines.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make independent decisions while collaborating effectively with teammates when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing new technology, including project management software, CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification in accordance with company policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in residential energy efficiency, weatherization, HVAC, insulation, roofing, windows, or other home performance industries.
  • Experience interpreting construction scopes of work, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and residential building practices.
  • Experience with project management or construction management software.
  • BPI, OSHA 10/30, or other construction or safety certifications are a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and field staff, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete projects within the targeted gross margin and allocated time. Monitor monthly production numbers, consistently discussing them with management.
  • Respond to all client questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Conduct or coordinate pre-project inspection of the job site.
  • Address issues before they arise or escalate.
  • Clarify job scope and customer contract with the sales team.
  • Identify the resources needed to complete each project. Communicate with the Internal Production Coordinator to ensure ordering happens.
  • Review finished projects with clients, address any last concerns or punch list items, and secure final payment in a timely manner.
  • Complete and submit all project documentation.
  • Implement new procedures and refine old procedures for increased efficiency.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients or prospects.
  • Ensure all client review materials are in place and completed.
  • Introduce and promote products and services appropriate to client needs.
  • Evaluate the customer's point of view and suggest alternatives, recommendations and solutions.
  • Follow established policies, practices and procedures and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Collect payment from clients.
  • Adhere to the department policies and procedures for client requests, changes in project scope and real time project changes.
