About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will lead complex client implementations from kickoff through go-live, serving as the trusted leader responsible for delivery, communication, and client confidence. You bring structure to ambiguity, anticipate risks before they become issues, and drive projects forward with urgency and accountability. Success in this role is less about prior healthcare benefits experience and more about your ability to learn quickly, think critically, communicate effectively, and build trusted relationships. You are naturally curious, exceptionally organized, and continually ask, 'What does the client need next?' and 'How will they receive this message?' You create confidence through preparation, follow-through, and leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of project management, implementation, consulting, or client-facing experience.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable learning new industries, technologies, and business processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Enterprise client experience preferred.
  • Healthcare, benefits administration, payroll, HRIS, or financial services experience is a plus—but not required.
  • PMP certification is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent client implementations from kickoff through successful production launch.
  • Own the overall success of each project by proactively driving scope, schedule, risks, decisions, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans that anticipate dependencies, critical path activities, and client readiness.
  • Facilitate organized, outcome-driven meetings with clear agendas, decisions, and action items.
  • Drive accountability across client and internal teams while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Escalate issues early with recommended solutions.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor throughout implementation.
  • Communicate with confidence and tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Consider how clients will receive information and adapt communication accordingly.
  • Build credibility through preparation, responsiveness, and consistent execution.
  • Balance client advocacy with scope, timeline, and business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project plans, risks, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Prepare agendas, materials, and objectives for all meetings.
  • Translate complex workstreams into actionable plans.
  • Follow through relentlessly until commitments are completed.
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, templates, and tools.
  • Capture lessons learned and apply best practices.
  • Challenge existing processes when better approaches exist.
  • Contribute to the evolution of implementation methodology.
  • Continuously assess project health and adjust plans proactively.
