About The Position

Groundworks is seeking a talented Project Manager with strong Scrum Master capabilities to join our tribe in Dallas, Texas! In this role, you will lead and support agile teams in delivering high-impact projects. This hybrid role combines traditional management oversight with hands-on agile facilitation. The ideal candidate will drive projects from initiation through delivery while enabling self-organizing teams to maximize value through Scrum and other agile practices. You will manage project scope, timelines, budget, and risks while actively serving as a Scrum Master for one of more agile teams. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about both structured delivery and agile excellence.

Requirements

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues with proactive mitigation strategies
  • Track and report on project status, KPIs, and deliverables to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for agile development teams
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
  • Coach teams on agile principles, Scrum/Kanban practices, and continuous improvement
  • Remove impediments and shield teams from external distractions to maintain velocity and focus
  • Promote agile maturity by introducing metrics (e.g. burndown charts, velocity, cycle time) and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability
  • Support Product Owners with backlog management, user story writing, and prioritization techniques
  • Drive adoption of agile methodologies across projects and teams
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication at all levels
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with product owners, developers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Ensure projects align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and quality standards
