About The Position

Clark is seeking a Project Manager to oversee K–12 construction projects in Southeast Michigan. This role involves managing renovations, additions, and new construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Project Executives, manage day-to-day execution, direct Superintendents and Project Engineers, and build relationships with district leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, preferably in K–12 or occupied buildings, and possess strong scheduling, financial management, and communication skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction PM experience
• K–12 or occupied-building experience preferred
• Strong scheduling and financial management discipline
• Clear communication with public-sector clients
• Proven ability to lead field and office teams
• Proficiency with ProjectSight, Phoenix, Bluebeam, Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage schedules in partnership with your Superintendent
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and cost control
• Manage RFIs, submittments, change orders, and documentation
• Conduct weekly trade coordination meetings
• Enforce safety and occupied-building protocols
• Maintain strong communication with district stakeholders
• Mentor Project Engineers and Coordinators
