About The Position
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Project Manager to support cross-functional product development initiatives within the beauty and personal care manufacturing industry. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and Englewood Lab's cross-functional teams, driving successful new product launches while ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with customer and business objectives. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced beauty manufacturing environment. The successful candidate demonstrates strong ownership, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to continuously learn and support both customers and teammates. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in beauty, contract manufacturing, or other manufacturing industries.
- Ability to speak Chinese and/or Korean is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple customer projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage assigned projects from concept through commercial launch while ensuring project milestones and customer requirements are met.
- Develop, maintain, and execute project timelines while proactively identifying potential timeline or quality risks and recommending solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, project trackers, customer records and order status.
- Monitor project status and communicate updates, risks, and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure all customer requirements are aligned with internal capabilities and business priorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement on department standards and project management processes.
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and outstanding customer service.
- Schedule and lead customer meetings while documenting meeting notes, action items, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate sample submissions, quotations, regulatory requests, timelines, and other project updates/ activities.
- Support successful product launches while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Partner closely with cross functional teams including Business Development, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Purchasing, and Production to ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in Gate Review meetings and collect all necessary information and samples for internal cross-functional communication.
- Support line trials, production activities, and customer visits when required.
- Support customer complaint investigations by gathering all necessary information from customer and working closely with Quality to support timely resolution.
- Escalate project risks appropriately while providing recommendations and potential solutions.
- Initiate Product Development Requests (PDRs) by gathering project requirements, including product type, target COG, target launch timing, formula or packaging requirements, customer specifications, and other project details.
- Coordinate quotation requests, review pricing for accuracy, and communicate approved quotations to customers.
- Ensure approved pricing is transferred accurately to the BOM/PO Coordinator
- Monitor account activities and identify potential risks, opportunities, or changes that may impact project success.
- Support Business Development by identifying opportunities for account growth and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
