The Project Manager will control any number of projects at various stages of work. This role involves consulting with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time. The Project Manager will plan project layouts, integrate engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approval, and represent clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts. Responsibilities include cost management/forecasting, understanding insurance and bonding requirements, providing trade contract scoping/writing, managing and overseeing multiple Project Engineers, developing project schedules, performing advanced quantity take-offs, overseeing procurement, and managing/maintaining/interacting with subcontractors. Other job duties as assigned. Employees may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
