About The Position

A growing theatrical systems integrator is seeking a Project Manager to lead stage-rigging, entertainment lighting, and AV installation projects from specification and estimate through submittals, procurement, installation, and closeout. The role requires practical theatrical rigging, lighting, and AV knowledge, with the ability to interpret drawings, coordinate people and materials, manage site conditions, and keep technically complex projects moving. The Project Manager works closely with installation, engineering, sales, suppliers, clients, and other job-site trades to deliver safe, well-executed systems.

Requirements

At least five years of professional theatrical project management experience.
Knowledge of theatrical rigging, lighting, and AV systems and related equipment.
Experience with project planning, budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and job-site conditions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Acrobat or Bluebeam, and Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and safety awareness.

Nice To Haves

Experience with motorized hoists, rigging automation, or related control systems.
Experience in entertainment lighting, AV, or other performance systems.

Responsibilities

Manage project expectations, schedules, priorities, and deliverables from kickoff through completion.
Interpret and work from specifications, building plans, drawings, and riser diagrams.
Create equipment takeoffs, obtain supplier pricing, support labor estimates, and develop proposals and bids.
Coordinate submittals, shipments, installation schedules, and project documentation.
Communicate proactively with clients, suppliers, installers, engineering teams, sales teams, and on-site trades.
Identify and solve job-site challenges in partnership with installation, engineering, and sales.
Maintain and develop supplier relationships.
Apply company installation and project-delivery standards.
Support other project-management and estimating responsibilities as needed.
