About The Position

Senior Project Manager / Engagement Lead (PMP®) | Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Client Data Management System (CDMS) Modernization | 1-Year Engagement PMP-Guided Engagement Leadership: Directed the 1-year project lifecycle for the Florida APD Client Data Management System (CDMS) modernization, applying PMI/PMP best practices to ensure strict governance, scope control, schedule adherence, and quality assurance. Enterprise IT Modernization: Led the strategic modernization of legacy state disability service data systems into a unified CDMS platform, modernizing core client intake, eligibility tracking, and service authorization architectures. Implementation Roadmap Development: Engineered a comprehensive multi-phase implementation roadmap, defining critical path milestones, environment readiness criteria, data migration schedules, and system cutover protocols. Risk & Issue Management: Established an enterprise risk register and governance matrix to proactively identify, track, and mitigate operational, technical, and regulatory risks, minimizing project friction and schedule drift. Multi-Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitated alignment across executive state leadership, regional office directors, division IT leads, and external technical vendors to reconcile competing priorities and ensure agency-wide consensus.

Requirements

• PMP® certification
• Experience directing a 1-year project lifecycle
• Experience applying PMI/PMP best practices for governance, scope control, schedule adherence, and quality assurance
• Experience leading enterprise IT modernization projects
• Experience modernizing legacy data systems
• Experience developing multi-phase implementation roadmaps
• Experience defining critical path milestones, environment readiness criteria, data migration schedules, and system cutover protocols
• Experience establishing enterprise risk registers and governance matrices
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating operational, technical, and regulatory risks
