About The Position

SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Project Manager to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. Responsibilities

  • In support of the government program office, the Project Manager is principally responsible for exceptional accomplishment of assigned Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) including all aspects of project execution (cost, schedule, performance, and technical requirements).
  • The PM is the program’s “face-to-the-customer,” responding to direction, negotiating project issues, team management, integration management, and successful completion of all project activities.
  • Leads a multi-functional team of mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, training, logistics, security (including cyber) and support specialists responsible for overall system operational availability.
