About The Position

The Project Manager holds responsibility for all aspects of the administrative and technical management of construction projects, ensuring projects run smoothly from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and is accountable for project planning, execution, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years' construction experience, specifically working for a general contractor on government projects.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • A genuine passion for the work and industry is a must.
  • US employment authorization verified by submitting Form I-9 information to E-Verify system no later than the third day of employment.
  • A valid state-issued driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment 5-panel drug screening.
  • Ability to pass and maintain satisfactory background check(s) for multiple agencies and be badged, as required by the assigned project(s).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related engineering field preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities such as permitting, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the client and construction teams.
  • Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Track project costs, approve expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues that arise.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and daily reports.
  • Oversee final project inspections, ensure punch list items are completed, and facilitate project handover to the client.
