Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated New Equipment Senior Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects. The New Equipment Project Manager will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction on multiple new construction projects. The role involves ensuring flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and ensuring all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations are met. The Project Manager will deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis’ Absolutes. This role coordinates all contract activities from project award to customer handover and financial close, working closely with sales and field operations to ensure installations align with contract documents and project scope. Regular progress updates are provided to branch, regional, and senior leadership. Proactive communication with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, designers, and regulatory agencies regarding project design, preparations, and scheduling is essential. Collaboration with internal sales staff, construction superintendents, and senior leadership is key for financial and customer success. Responsibilities include managing billing, owner/contractor payments, vendor load-up, receivables, processing RFIs, optimizing change orders, and maximizing project cash coverage. The role requires interpreting construction contractual documents and modifications, reading architectural and structural drawings, and analyzing situations to develop contingency plans for estimates.
