About The Position

XLA is seeking a Project Manager to provide overall program management, leadership, and oversight for all FMASS task areas. This role involves overseeing the execution and delivery of financial reporting, audit, data quality, program operations, and financial management support services. The Project Manager will coordinate with AFMS leadership, CORs, and Government stakeholders to ensure alignment with priorities, schedules, and funding constraints. Key responsibilities include managing staffing, resource allocation, and task prioritization, monitoring contract performance, risks, and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with the Government COR and ensure contractor compliance with contract terms, DOJ policy, OMB guidance, and applicable federal standards. This position requires providing executive-level reporting, metrics, dashboards, and status briefings, as well as supporting AFP leadership with legislative, policy, and FOIA matters. Additionally, the role involves providing leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance across contractor teams, maintaining an integrated master schedule, and ensuring traceability standards are met for all analytical products.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or project management from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years’ documented experience leading Federal financial, budget, and audit support projects
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience serving as audit liaison supporting external Federal auditors
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary teams supporting data quality, audit, and financial management
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Federal programs with legislative, policy, or FOIA coordination

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance across contractor teams.
  • Maintain integrated master schedule for deliverables and Government suspense dates (PBCs, quarterly notes, NFR/CAP cycles).
  • Ensure traceability standards are met for all analytical products (source system, extract date, query/report ID, version).
