About The Position

As a Project Manager within the Data Management Business Unit at Datavail, you will lead AI, Data & Analytics, Data Governance, Master Data Management, and other similar consultancy projects at key strategic clients to success. You will work closely with the technical delivery and account management team to ensure customer satisfaction, project healthiness across multiple metrics, and help position additional work for the company. You will also develop integrated project plans and act as the primary customer contact for projects. Additionally, you will participate in or develop mechanisms for establishing, monitoring, and integrating projects. You will use various analyses, other performance measures, and risk assessments to manage implementations or recommend change. You will negotiate program and project changes and incorporate changes into project change processes to maintain statements of work, cost, and schedule baselines. You will lead and direct remote or on-site project teams to be successful. This position will focus on the delivery of solutions within our Data Management and Database business units. Candidates should have a working knowledge of delivering solutions to clients using one or more of the following: Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure AI capabilities, Amazon Web Services AI capabilities, and various Master Data Management products. Familiarity with project delivery in both Waterfall and Agile lifecycles and the tools that facilitate those methodologies (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project) is required. Candidates must have project successes in turning complex business challenges into effective business and technical solutions that provide significant business value to strategic clients.

Requirements

• 7 or more years Project/Program Management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 4 years managing data and analytics projects within a cloud or on-prem environment
• Must have experience and be adept and lead globally sourced project teams as we use a global delivery model
• Bachelor's degree, Business or Technical or a related field of study
• 2-3+ years professional services experience with leading projects for external or internal customers
• PMP or Agile implementation methodology knowledge
• Working knowledge of delivering solutions to clients using one or more of the following: Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure AI capabilities, Amazon Web Services AI capabilities, various Master Data Management products.
• Familiar with project delivery in both Waterfall and Agile lifecycles and the tools that facilitate those methodologies (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project.)
• Project successes of turning at times complex business challenges into effective business and technical solutions that provide significant business value to strategic clients.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing cross-functional projects for clients
• Oversee project budget and driving course corrections to maintain such, for items within your control
• Able to organize internal business groups to manage and implement projects to scope while managing customer expectations
• Simultaneously manage a portfolio of unrelated projects and provide transparency into progress to client and Datavail management
• Can tailor a project management approach to the type/size of project using various techniques including Agile and waterfall
• Develop integrated schedule including critical path and ensures assigned resources are executing as planned
• Must have the ability to multi-task and enhance a team environment
• Monitor, track, and control change to the projects through formal change control management of requirements, configuration, performance measures, cost, schedule, program organization structure, and technology environment (release schedules, infrastructure changes, etc.)
• Contribute to Datavail PMO standards, processes, and tools to enable continuous improvement across the entire portfolio and PMO team
