About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Project Manager for its Federal Solutions team. The Project Manager manages scope, schedule, budget, and quality while leading a Project Delivery Team across the project’s acquisition life cycle through successful execution. The role directs business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions; manages project finances and profitability; oversees required project plans and documents; monitors deliverables for adherence to requirements; assigns work to key subordinates; and negotiates scope changes with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical or business field.
10 or more years of related work experience.

Professional registration such as PE or PMP.

Responsibilities

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality while leading a Project Delivery Team across the project’s acquisition life cycle.
Plan, direct, supervise, and control the business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, other direct costs, and gross profit for the project term.
Develop and manage the budget and oversee project profitability.
Manage project invoicing and billing, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Oversee the establishment of the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents.
Establish project requirements and monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence to those criteria.
Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates based on their qualifications and strengths.
Monitor and negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
