About The Position

Twining, Inc., an engineering, testing, and inspection company, is seeking a Project Manager for operations in Sacramento and the Bay Area. The role combines technical oversight with project management and offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact and grow within the organization. The Project Manager oversees project staffing, testing and reporting, technical work, budgets, billing, client communications, and sales-related activities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering emphasis preferred.
Five years of construction project management experience preferred.
Experience overseeing materials testing and structural inspections highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Ensure appropriately credentialed and experienced staff are assigned in accordance with proposals and contracts.
Ensure timely and accurate testing and reporting by laboratory and field staff.
Review field and laboratory reports.
Document and handle nonconformance items.
Ensure accurate and timely billing.
Manage and track budgets and prepare change order requests.
Provide direction and technical assistance to field personnel.
Communicate with project team members and conduct periodic site visits.
Prepare proposals for special inspection and materials testing services.
Maintain chargeability goals.
Participate in sales-related activities as requested by the marketing and business development team, including client presentations and short-list interviews.
Communicate regularly with clients to ensure a days sales outstanding (DSO) of 80 days or less for all managed projects.
