AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background in mine closure, mine site remediation, or northern contaminated sites to join our Environment Business Line in support of the Faro Mine Remediation Program. This role supports one of Canada’s largest and most complex mine closure projects. The right candidate can work locally from our Burnaby, BC, Calgary AB or Edmonton, AB office and AECOM can provide hybrid work options to give the flexibility you need to do your best work. This is a regular, full-time position. We are looking for a candidate that has a can-do attitude, is enthusiastic, team-oriented professional, with a strong project management background. The appropriately qualified candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in project management and technical experience related to mine closure, tailings/contaminated materials management, or mine‑site infrastructure decommissioning. The project management role will focus on supporting ongoing solid waste management and remediation projects across Western Canada but will also interface with other projects within AECOM’s Environment business.
