About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work directly with our client's Chief Information Officer (CIO) on a series of strategic IT department assessments and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, exceptional executive communication skills, and the ability to drive complex IT-focused initiatives while partnering with senior leadership. This role requires a polished professional who can confidently engage with executive stakeholders, facilitate strategic discussions, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery of assessment outcomes and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing IT-related projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong background in Project Management, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact confidently and professionally with executive stakeholders, including CIOs, senior leadership teams, and C-suite executives.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, presenting findings, and preparing executive-level communications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • Experience supporting IT assessments, IT strategy, digital transformation, or organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Background or experience in the Legal industry/legal operations environment.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership on strategic planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the client's CIO and executive leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute strategic IT assessments.
  • Manage multiple IT-related projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and status reporting.
  • Facilitate executive-level meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and external consulting partners.
  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, findings, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication across all stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and drive accountability for deliverables and outcomes.
