As a Project Manager for PLM and MES deployments, you will be responsible for executing system deployments that ensure traceability, compliance, and efficiency across complex manufacturing programs. In partnership with a Program Manager (responsible for ensuring enterprise-wide alignment), you will focus on operational excellence—planning, execution, and integration of PLM and MES solutions within the defined scope and sites. The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • University degree with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Proven project planning and leadership skills, including the ability to quickly build trust with sponsors and stakeholders, motivate teams, manage scope and financials, and define the project approach.
  • Experience with formal project management methodologies and tools (e.g., IPDS, MS Project, PPMC, Jira).
  • Strong results orientation; ability to make decisions with limited information.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with an innovative and creative mindset.
  • Experience in change management, implementation management, readiness management, and end-user experience (a plus).
  • Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver PLM and MES deployments for assigned programs/sites, with full ownership of scope, resources, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed plans, manage milestones and dependencies, oversee RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT activities required for deployment at all levels of the organization; escalate cross-functional issues via the Program Manager. Act as a liaison between project management, digital technology, planning, the project team, and line management.
  • In collaboration with the IT organization, ensure effective integration of PLM and MES with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and adjacent systems; validate data integrity and interfaces.
  • In collaboration with business teams, coordinate the implementation of standardized processes (configuration management, traceability, shop-floor execution) aligned with aerospace industry requirements.
  • In collaboration with Business Analysts, plan and track SIT/UAT execution, manage defect resolution, and ensure production readiness.
  • In collaboration with the Change Management lead and training organization, plan and track site-level change plans, training activities, and cutover execution to ensure successful adoption.
  • Track KPIs (schedule adherence, defect rates, adoption, production impact) and provide clear status reporting to program leadership.
