Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
  • 4+ years of project management or related experience
  • Knowledgeable at reading engineering drawings
  • A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
  • Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Demonstrates product knowledge obtained through experiential hands-on training.

Nice To Haves

  • CAD experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall management, reviewing customer specifications, customer meetings, sales calls, scheduling and performance of assigned projects
  • Develop and communicate project status and overall schedule for each project including identifying deadlines to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure project scope is clear and defined throughout the project process
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the electrical or mechanical team, when necessary, on team specific function
  • Conduct and collaborate with internal and external resources on Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Ensure designs meet customer specifications and internal expectations prior to releasing from engineering
  • Update Enterprise Resource Planning and project management software with project details and status
  • Order and coordinate with vendors when necessary equipment is purchased
  • Utilize project management software to track projects with detailed notes
  • Collaborate with Engineering to answer and complete any issues that may arise post release, with Fabrication, Assembly and Service.
  • Travel for front end visits, installation support, or Factory Acceptance Tests of vendors equipment when required.
