About The Position

This is a growth-oriented role in project management supporting program business operations and business management. The Project Manager will assist in project management needs across multiple contract task activities and support the Program Manager and Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and reporting program activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent time in Project Management, Engineering, or related fields in managing projects.
  • Min of 2 years of experience in project management or a related role.
  • Strong background in Automated Test Systems and Equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or equivalent experience in project management is a plus.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Knowledge of Automated Test Systems and Equipment for DoD
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think critically.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and facilitating the resolution of operational issues within the program, project, or new business opportunity.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and functional areas (i.e, quality, training, logistics, production, finance, and customer operations) to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Support the Program and Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and executing program and project activities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of program schedules, timelines, and milestones.
  • Help execute one or more aspects of the program or project, such as resource allocations and management, risk management, scheduling, deployment and delivery of goods and services, or other program and project support functions.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of program documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, schedules and action item logs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for program and project-related queries and issues, ensuring timely and effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive program and project objectives and ensure alignment across teams, functional roles and enterprise operations.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks and issues that may impact program and project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support the allocation and management of resources to ensure program and project goals are met within specified timelines and budgets.
