About The Position

Support the project management business and other value add services by managing multiple aspects of each project. The Project Manager will execute and manage projects to ensure successful outcomes for our customers and our company. This role leads projects from procurement through shipment as the primary point of contact for all items related to that project. The Project Manager will manage the schedule across multiple projects and multiple work groups, resolve customer issues related to projects, and execute standard operating procedures for projects to ensure successful completion. This role also provides feedback and recommendations for updates to operating procedures as part of continuous improvement initiatives, conducts and hosts customer meetings related to status across multiple projects, and enforces and complies with all Company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be computer literate and have the manual dexterity to perform data entry quickly and accurately.
  • Comfortable working with very tedious information with strong attention to detail.
  • Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office software specifically Excel and company programs.
  • Must be comfortable working on vendor websites with the ability to learn navigation of new sites.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings with minimal assistance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal customers.
  • Must be able to deal with steady interruptions that include phone calls, emails, and employee questions.
  • Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple priorities.
  • Minimum level: High School Diploma.
  • Minimum amount: At least one year of previous experience in a Project Manager role.
  • Position works primarily in an office environment, which may be noisy and/or distracting.
  • Occasional offsite meetings for presentation, training, etc.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Must have the ability to see and hear within normal ranges, with or without corrective devices.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, or noisy environments.
  • Must have the ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents within normal ranges, with or without corrective devices.
  • Ability to hear and speak clearly for phone conversations and in-person communication.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage projects to ensure successful outcomes for our customers and our company.
  • Lead projects from procurement through shipment as the primary point of contact for all items related to that project.
  • Manage procurement with purchasing team.
  • Track material arrival to project deadlines.
  • Adjust and manage material as required to meet deadlines.
  • Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the status of all projects.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure project is built on time and correctly.
  • Coordinate with partners for outsourced services and parts.
  • Coordinate delivery of material to testing locations and final destination.
  • Manage schedule across multiple projects and multiple work groups.
  • Resolve customer issues related to projects.
  • Execute standard operating procedures for projects to ensure successful completion.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for updates to operating procedures as part of our continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct and host customer meetings related to status across multiple projects.
  • Enforce and comply with all Company policies and safety procedures.
