The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) is a non-profit legal services organization and the community-based clinical program for U.C. Berkeley Law School. It is one of the Bay Area’s largest and most effective systems disrupters, with a dual service and teaching mission. EBCLC is a racial justice organization committed to building a culturally diverse workplace, centered on equity. With approximately 50 staff, 120 law students annually, and a budget of nearly $7.5 million, EBCLC is the largest provider of free legal services in Alameda County. It offers multimodal, collaborative, and holistic legal services to over 4,000 clients annually and engages in legislative and policy advocacy at the state and local level. The Development Project Manager provides support with the fundraising and communications activities of the organization. This role requires an extremely organized individual with attention to detail, excellent judgment and discretion, strong writing skills, a flexible and proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to EBCLC’s racial justice mission. As a member of a high-performing and collaborative Development, Communications, and Data (DCD) team, this position will play a key role in growing EBCLC’s fundraising efforts. The Development Project Manager reports to the Co-Deputy Director and will support activities across the DCD team in three key areas: Individual Giving, Communications, and Grants and Reporting.
