About The Position

The Project Manager – Engineering & Facilities Projects is responsible for leading engineering and capital projects that improve equipment reliability, manufacturing performance, facility infrastructure, and product quality. This role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, and Vendor/Contractor teams to identify improvement and business sustaining opportunities, develop project scopes, and execute solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will manage projects from concept through implementation, ensuring equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and maintenance initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to operations while meeting key project goals. This position plays a critical role in sustaining high-performing manufacturing systems, supporting operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement across the site. This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, project management, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting capital equipment or manufacturing projects.
  • Experience in food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with automation, controls, packaging equipment, processing equipment, or utility systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP, CMMS, and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power BI.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement environment.
  • Familiarity with DMAIC, Kaizen, RCCM, or other structured problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of capital and expense projects focused on equipment performance, reliability improvements, facility upgrades, and manufacturing capability enhancements.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, financial tracking, documentation, reporting, and contractor activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop business cases, project charters, cost estimates, and implementation plans that support engineering, maintenance, and operational priorities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align project priorities, resources, execution plans, and startup readiness.
  • Coordinate equipment specifications, procurement, lead times, delivery schedules, installations, modifications, commissioning, validation, and startup activities while minimizing production downtime.
  • Manage contractor onboarding and cultivate strong relationships with equipment manufacturers, contractors, technical service providers, and MRO vendors to deliver sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Monitor and communicate project milestones, budgets, risks, mitigation plans, equipment delivery schedules, and overall project status to site leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects comply with company standards, safety requirements, regulatory expectations, and quality systems, and facilitate successful handoff to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Partner with Maintenance and Operations teams to identify and prioritize reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement and capital projects that improve equipment uptime, asset utilization, maintenance effectiveness, yield, and overall equipment performance.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies through equipment upgrades, automation enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Evaluate equipment failures and chronic losses using Root Cause Countermeasure (RCCM) and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, contractors, and technical service providers to develop and implement sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Partner with Aramark and internal stakeholders to support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of facility systems, including utilities, building infrastructure, and manufacturing support systems.
  • Collaborate with Aramark, contractors, vendors, and service providers to plan, prioritize, and execute facility maintenance and capital improvement projects safely, efficiently, and with minimal operational disruption.
  • Identify and implement opportunities with Aramark and site teams to improve facility reliability, energy efficiency, asset performance, and operational sustainability.
  • Provide oversight of facility and infrastructure improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with company safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
