About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This role is responsible for managing every phase of project execution while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing projects involving commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and interior finishes. You'll work closely with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams while overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and project documentation. Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction.
  • Experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior finishes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, client relationships, and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout each project.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
  • Manage RFIs, submittments, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation.
  • Conduct routine jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize impacts on cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal leadership.
  • Coordinate punch-list completion, final documentation, project turnover, and closeout activities.
