This role involves supervising all direct responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager, and handling them directly in their absence. The Project Manager will oversee the submittal process, request for information (RFI) process, coordination of material deliveries, job photos and progress documentation, and the completion of job close-out requirements. The position also supports jobsite safety enforcement, schedule development, management and reporting, progress documentation and reporting, cost control and reporting, enforcing risk management parameters, change management, and dispute resolution. The role requires establishing and maintaining relationships with the design team, owner counterpart, project subcontractors, and vendors. It also involves ensuring positive community exposure, participating in industry or community service organizations, assuming leadership roles in community service projects, and seeking involvement in and understanding of the BLHI Business Development process. The Project Manager is expected to embrace and demonstrate adherence to BLHI Corporate Values, interact with professionalism and pro-activism, continually seek feedback and personal development, train direct reports for advancement, and understand and further the overall objectives of BLHI. The position requires considerable mental effort and comprehension with sustained concentration and frequent interruptions, as well as moderate, varied physical effort and dexterity. The working conditions are varied, including a small private office, cubicle, or shared office with public contact/fellow employees, and the location may be on a jobsite or in a corporate or regional office.
